Junior Club Volleyball is played throughout the United States and we are based on the New England Region of USA Volleyball. Our club plays both AAU and USA Volleyball Events.
Girls Junior Club Volleyball starts in early November for High School athletes and can be played year round. AVA’s programs start with tryouts in early November and run through late April/early May.
AVA Volleyball Club will offer 4 levels of teams: National, High Performance, Club, and House. Levels offered at each age group will vary based on team.
National – National Teams are our highest level of play and require the highest level of commitment from our athletes. National teams will play in a higher level in Boston Volleyball Festival and may travel out of region to 1 or more multi-day events.
High Performance – HP teams are for advanced athletes who want to train at a higher level and are expected to maintain a high commitment to the team throughout the season. The HP team will practice twice a week and play in primarily multi-day USAV tournaments in the New England area. Participating in multiple sports during the season will require approval from the Club Director/Coach.
Club – Club teams are for the athlete doesn’t want to commit to the more intense HP/National program. The Club team will practice once or twice a week and primarily only play in the single day tournaments.
House – House teams are for athletes who are just starting to play volleyball or don’t want to commit to a team but want to continue to hone their volleyball skills. House teams will practice once a week. House teams will not participate in any tournaments.
Planned 2024-2025 Teams
The level of the team and coaches will not be finalized until after tryouts. The team level will be determined based on the ability of the team. All teams typically have 10 players but there may be exceptions to this rule.
